Mina's Marvelous Hoop
一个关于认知灵活性的小故事——当一件东西卡住你的时候，也许它其实有很多种玩法。
产出（Output）：Mina’s Marvelous Hoop，一个关于认知灵活性的小故事。目前是个初稿，没来得及修改，不管是结构、衔接、细节还是语言还有很大调整空间。
捡宝（Loot）：这次的背景同样来自于生活，给儿子买了个日本剑玉 Kendama 玩具，他在好多次尝试不成功之后非常沮丧，而不小心砸到脑袋，瞬间火大，眼看马上要开始喷火了。
我灵机一动开始给那只红色小球配音，小球说”其实我不只有一种玩法哦，快来和我玩”，然后跳到旁边的橘子上假扮雪人的头部。儿子一下子就来了劲，跟我一起发明了更多的玩法，先前的沮丧早就抛到脑后。
基于这个小事件，我想给儿子讲一个故事强化一下这次收获，里面私藏了我对他的”暗喻催眠”嘿嘿。在发展心理学看，flexible thinking（认知灵活性 / 心智转换能力）和工作记忆、自我控制并列，是执行功能的核心成分之一。希望他有听懂我对他的祝福，下一次卡住的时候，可以想起来永远有别的路。
写完这则故事发现自己的心态也轻盈了起来。我也有很多因为卡住而沮丧挫败的时候，不妨想起这个剑玉小球、Mina 的百变呼啦圈。
Mina’s Marvelous Hoop
Mina had just gotten her very first hula hoop. She gave it a hopeful swish.
Plop.
She tried again.
Plop.
And again.
Plop.
Mina huffed and squeezed the hoop. “Ugh. I can’t do it.”
The hoop gave a tiny wiggle in the grass. “Well,” she said, “that’s a funny thing to say to a toy with this many jobs.” Mina blinked. “You can talk?” “Of course,” said the hoop.
Mina picked her up. At once, the hoop became a steering wheel. “Vroom!” exclaimed Mina. She drove past Pancake Castle, zipped over Bumblebee Bridge, and screeched to a stop outside a striped circus tent.
Inside, the hoop rose tall and bright. Now it was a lion’s fire ring. Mina took three quick steps, leaped through the middle, then did a tumble and a twirl. A lion in a sparkly vest bowed low.
But the ring was hot—far too hot. “Quick!” cried the hoop. Mina rolled her across the grass until they reached a sparkling pond. The hoop settled flat and shimmered blue. Mina jumped right into the middle. Splash! She knelt at the edge, tossed in pebbles, and skipped one across the shining water.
Ripple by ripple, the pond began to hum. It shimmered. It swirled. It glowed. Then it lifted into a time-travel tunnel.
Mina laughed and jumped right through— into dinosaur times. Through once more— onto the moon.
At last she tumbled home, dizzy and grinning. She lay in the grass, catching her breath. Then she lifted the hoop and peered through it. “What now?” asked the hoop. “A submarine window,” she said. The hoop gave a pleased little shimmy. “Or a whirling bracelet!” She slipped her arm through and spun it round and round as she dashed across the yard.
This time, Mina’s laughter rang out bright and bold—like her imagination had only just begun.
《米娜的神奇呼啦圈》
米娜得到了她人生中的第一个呼啦圈。
她兴冲冲地跨在腰间，努力的甩跨——“啪嗒”掉了。她捡起呼啦圈，准备再试一次——还是不听使唤。再来一次——这次呼啦圈多挣扎了几圈，再次砸到脚上。
“哼，一点也不好玩！“米娜鼓起腮帮子，使劲的挤压呼啦圈。
“哎呦呦”呼啦圈努力的挣脱了米娜的手心”你可弄疼我了""你怎么能对一个有这么多本领的玩具这么说呢？”
米娜眨眨眼。“你会说话？”
“当然啦。“呼啦圈说，“快来跟我一起玩”。
米娜刚把呼啦圈捡起来——霎那间，呼啦圈变成了方向盘。
“呜——呜——“米娜忍不住开了起来。她飞快地驶过煎饼城堡，冲过嗡嗡蜂桥，“吱——“的一声，停在一顶条纹马戏团帐篷前。
帐篷里，呼啦圈努力一跃，蹦得高高的。这会儿，它又变成了狮子的火圈。米娜鼓足勇气蹬蹬蹬助跑、冲刺、然后嗖地一下跳过去，再来个空中转体，完美落地。一只穿亮片背心的狮子，彬彬有礼地朝她一鞠躬。
可是，火圈太烫啦！米娜的衣服着火了。“快跑！“呼啦圈一边喊一边往前滚动。米娜赶紧跟上，直到来到一片亮晶晶的池塘边。
来不及多想，米娜扑通一下跳进中间，扑灭了身上的火。定睛一看这是呼啦圈围成的水塘，被它圈住的区域闪着蓝汪汪的光。她尽兴的练习跳水，往水里丢小石子，在水面上打起了水漂。一圈圈波纹轻轻荡开，闪呀闪，转呀转，亮呀亮——
忽然，池塘呼地一下升了起来，变成了一条时光隧道！
米娜哈哈大笑，握住呼啦圈，纵身一跳穿过它——一下来到了恐龙时代！她玩的不亦乐乎，穿梭在不同时空里。
最后，她翻滚着地回到了院子里，脑袋晕晕乎乎的，好像做了好多场梦。
她躺在草地上喘了口气，又把呼啦圈举起来，从中间往外看。“接下来呢？“呼啦圈问。“你是潜水艇的窗户！“米娜透过”窗户”指着天上的云”这是鲨鱼、那是海龟”。呼啦圈笑咯咯，抖了抖身体回应。
此刻，米娜的想象已经停不下来了…”还有——你是一个会制造龙卷风的魔法手镯！“米娜把手臂穿在呼啦圈里，一边转，一边跑，在阳光下发着光，笑声回荡在空气里。
一个呼啦圈，原来只要我们不被它圈住，可以玩出这么多、这么多好玩的花样呀！
